The Eric Prydz: Epic 4.0 live tour boasted a massive stage design, four giant LED displays fronted by a holographic cube. The tour visuals were a combination of efforts between the Eric Prydz team and the GMUNK super-rainbow hit squad. Teaming up with same crew behind the Eric Prydz: Generate music video, GMUNK squadded up Michael Rigley and me to design the intro and outro to the Eric Prydz live show. My role in this project was the design, animation, and sound design for the show's intro. It was an exciting challenge to create an animation that was equally suspenseful and exciting, as well as diving into Octane Render for the first time. As always, working alongside both Michael Rigley and GMUNK I feel I walk away a better designer.

PROCESS STILLS
Using this project as a crash course into Octane Render, the process was a constant struggle to understand the new tools while simultaneously producing frames. Though painful at times, it was ultimately a thrilling and extremely rewarding project. Thanks to the pressure to meet the demands of the project, and the standard of quality brought by Michael Rigley and GMUNK, I walked away from this video with a very inspiring tool at my disposal. I feel as if a creative door has been opened, and I very much look forward to using everything I learned on many projects in the future.
Below I have categorized a number of stills that document the creation process for each scene. From modeling and texturing to compositing, I have included every step of this project from start to finish.
